In Distitch there is a special chapter for DS selvedges. The technique is very easy and the results are wonderful. There are two types of stitches in the edge chains – closed and open. Both types of slip DS selvedge can be made with knit DS or purl DS.
Knit DS selvedges were published two months ago. Today I’m introducing new purl DS selvedges. They look almost identical to the knit variety, but work the Distitch differently. Note, the knit variation is simpler because it uses familiar techniques, whereas the purl variation is quicker, but uses Distitch technique.
