I learned about Nicolaus Day on 6th December after I moved to Germany. Such a nice tradition: children leave their shoes outside the bedroom door on Saint Nicolaus Eve in hope that Saint Nicolaus will leave them a gift… But even if you are not a child, it is still wonderful to believe in miracles…

We attended a great origami convention organised by COS in Prague in early October. There I taught a candle holder unit and my favourite daffodil! It’s always a joy teaching this and I am happy to show it to my friends everywhere. Here are some diagrams if you want to try it for yourself.
